Description
Rescue 241 is our Advanced Life Support (ALS) certified rescue vehicle. It is a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban and as outfitted it can seat 3 rescue personnel. It is the only volunteer run ALS unit in Tompkins county.
Role
It is essentially an ambulance without patient transport capacity, carrying state-of-the-art BLS and ALS equipment. It also carries rope and water rescue equipment.
