Important Information for the Fall 2020 Cayuga Heights Fire Department Recruiting Drive
Recruit Info Dinner: September 20th at 6:00 in the evening
Interviews: September 24th-25th in the evening
Recruit Class 1: October 3rd – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Recruit Class 2: October 4th – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Recruit Class 3: October 10th – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Our next recruit class will take place in the Fall of 2020. It is a great opportunity for those who want to help their community around Cayuga Heights, Cornell, and The Town of Ithaca. No prior experience is required.
If you are interested in volunteering with us, the first step is to attend our recruit dinner and learn more about what we do. It is not required but gives you an insight into how we work. If you wish to attend, send an email titled 'RSVP Recruit Dinner' to email@example.com.
Applications for the department will be handed out at the dinner. If you cannot attend the dinner, still send an email to expressing your interest and we will send you an application. Please note the applications are due by the September 20th.
Once you apply you will be invited for an interview. An email link will be sent to you to book a 10-minute time slot for your interview. The interview both allows us to get to know you and allows you ask any questions you may have about the department and the membership process. The membership committee will select the roster for the class after the interviews.
