Important Information for the Fall 2021 Cayuga Heights Fire Department Recruiting Drive
Recruit Info Dinner: September 23th at 6:00 in the evening
Interviews: September 28th-29th in the evening
Recruit Class 1: October 16th – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Recruit Class 2: October 17th – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Recruit Class 3: October 23rd – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Our next recruit class will take place in the Fall of 2021. It is a great opportunity for those who want to help their community around Cayuga Heights, Cornell, and The Town of Ithaca. No prior experience is required.
If you are interested in volunteering with us, the first step is to attend our recruit dinner and learn more about what we do. It is not required but gives you an insight into how we work. If you wish to attend, send an email titled 'RSVP Recruit Dinner' to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications for the department will be handed out at the dinner. If you cannot attend the dinner, still send an email to email@example.com expressing your interest and we will send you an application. Please note the applications are due by the September 23th.
Once you apply you will be invited for an interview. An email link will be sent to you to book a 10-minute time slot for your interview. The interview both allows us to get to know you and allows you ask any questions you may have about the department and the membership process. The membership committee will select the roster for the class after the interviews.
