The Cayuga Heights Fire Department (CHFD) is an all-volunteer department that depends on members of the community to provide fire protection and EMS services to the residents of the Village of Cayuga Heights, Town of Ithaca, Cornell University, and surrounding Tompkins County. Individuals with all levels of experience are welcome, from those brand-new to the fire service to those with extensive experience.
