Water Rescue at Fall Creek



On Monday evening at 21:11, CHFD was dispatched for a 17-year old female who fell in Fall Creek and struck her face. Engine 202, Rescue 241, and Command 264 was en route in less than two minutes, arriving on scene to find two subjects stranded on a rock in the middle of the stream bed. CHFD executed rope rescue operations and made contact with the subjects. Both were safely transported back to shore where they were evaluated by Bangs Ambulance. Cornell EHS was also on scene.
