Just past midnight on Tuesday, January 30, CHFD was requested Mutual Aid to Lansing for a chimney fire on Triphammer Terrace. The caller stated seeing smoke coming from a crease in the ceiling with the walls being hot. Engine 203 responded with a full crew, followed by a fully-staffed Ladder 231. Firefighters from CHFD assisted Lansing FD in controlling the scene and ventilating the residence.
