Mutual Aid to Varna for Barn Fire

On Wednesday evening at 19:59, CHFD was dispatched mutual aid for a fully involved barn fire in the Mt. Pleasant area of Varna. Engine 203 responded with a full crew at 20:03, followed by Engine 202 with a full crew a few minutes later. Engine 203 arrived on scene to assist with fire suppression while Engine 202 established water supply at the Varna FD to set up a tanker refill site. CHFD personnel were deployed for over four hours along with units from 8 other fire departments.
